When looking into a sober living home, it’s important to understand that sobriety prior to moving in is a requirement. At Elijah’s House Sober Living, we ask that individuals have a minimum of 30 days sober before they’re considered for entry. Our sober living environment offers a safe, supportive, and substance-free setting, perfect for those transitioning from intensive inpatient addiction treatment to normal daily life. These homes provide the right mix of freedom and responsibility, aiding residents in establishing healthy habits and participating in communal living. Ongoing support and fellow sober living members along with enrollment in outpatient counseling help residents strengthen their recovery efforts and forge a network of sobriety. While enrolled in outpatient, we do prioritize personal growth with a range of activities and workshops designed to address important aspects such as relapse prevention, preparation for employment, and emotional health, all with the goal of ensuring a smooth and effective transition back to everyday life.
